Coevolution

I am considering a change in the formulation of the concept of evolutionary history that will help our social wisdom.  I offer a change in the word itself and call it coevolution instead of evolution.  Everything is link by past experiences.

This is an interesting idea. To me wisdom is tied to functionality of the whole. Wisdom would embody the ability to choose the best course of action. The whole consists of parts. How the parts relate to one another will determine the functionality of the whole. How we relate to each other and the environment has direct consequences. So far we have learned how to relate from our past experiences, as I think you are you suggesting. To what degree has egocentric thinking directed our actions? "Coevolution" implies bringing the "other" into equal consideration. Would that be wise? Would that contribute to the health of the whole within which self and other reside?

Could you articulate the difference between the coevolution of which you speak and the role of reciprocal altruism in traditional understandings of evolution? Thanks!
