An historian of aging, I have for more than a decade been interested in the connection between wisdom and age. With Lucinda Orwoll, I wrote a crossdisciplinary study of the "wisdom of Job." I currently am writing spiritual biographies (ranging from the Denise Levertov to Henri Nouwen) in which wisdom figures largely.
