Originally from St. Louis, I went to Notre Dame, where I spent the last year as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Religion. Prior to that, I served as a faculty member for five years in the Department of Philosophy at St. Louis University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science from the University of Missouri and my master’s degree and Ph.D. in philosophy from Notre Dame. I specialize in contemporary metaphysics, especially the problem of free will. My research and teaching interests are in ethics, feminism, ancient philosophy and philosophy of religion.
