Dr. Andrew Chen is an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) and began work there on August 2005. He has engaged in a substantial amount of new course development for the Computer Science and Information Systems department at MSUM. The most successful course which he has developed has been the "Ethics in The Information Age" class, which is cross-listed with Philosophy and is available as an option to satisfy the liberal studies requirement at MSUM. His degrees are in Mathematics (B. S.) and Computer Science (B. S., M. S., and Ph.D.). He has presented and published in the field of graph theory, as well as in the field of computer culture (will be published this year). He has numerous interests, the activeness of which for each has varied over the years. He is a certified yoga instructor, a fan of Japanese animation, and has extensive prior experience with highly introspective blogging.
