Dr. Patricia Marrone Bennett received her degree in Human and Organizational Development from the Fielding Graduate University. She is the President and CEO of Resource Development Associates, Inc. which is a 25 year-old consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to strengthening public and nonprofit efforts to promote social and economic justice for vulnerable populations. She has worked in the non-profit and public sectors for more than 30 years as an administrator, public policy and system planner and community organizer. She teaches Organizational Ethics at Alliant International University, San Francisco in the School of Management and is a faculty team member for the CARTA Fellowship program at UCSF. With a life long commitment to improving public systems impact on vulnerable populations, Dr. Bennett has participated in a number of the largest and most innovative projects in the nation in the areas of youth violence prevention, mental health transformation, juvenile justice reform, as well as child welfare reform. She has conducted research on the impact of family violence on the incidence of youth violence as well as research on youth gangs and youth homelessness. She continues to work with a variety of nonprofit and governmental organizations helping them develop what she calls “organizational mindfulness” through management and leadership development and organizational asset development.
